Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, has not been published in another journal or book, and is not currently under review by another journal. Papers previously published in conference proceedings are accepted;
  • The manuscript has been submitted in anonymized form, with no identification of authorship in the text or in the file properties;
  • The authorship form, containing the full details of all authors, has been duly completed and submitted as a separate file through the system;
  • The article has no more than six authors, who acknowledge that no changes in authorship (addition, removal, or substitution) will be permitted after submission;
  • The author(s) have not exceeded the limit of one publication per year in the journal;
  • The file has been submitted in .doc or .docx format, in accordance with the journal template, and fully complies with the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in either .docx or .doc format. Files containing images must be sent in high resolution. Any form of author identification must be completely removed from the file, including metadata and document properties. Authors are solely responsible for ensuring the anonymity of their submissions.
  • Manuscripts should be between 6,000 and 9,000 words in length (including abstracts, keywords, tables, figures, charts, notes, and references, but excluding appendices and annexes). The manuscript should be organized into sections that must include, at a minimum: Introduction; Theoretical Framework; Methodology; Results, Analysis and Discussion; Final Considerations; and References.
  • Section titles must be numbered (e.g., 2) without indentation, formatted in Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, using sentence case. Subsections must be numbered (e.g., 2.1) without indentation, formatted in Times New Roman, 12 pt, regular, also using sentence case.
  • Use top and bottom margins of 2.5 cm and left and right margins of 3.0 cm.
  • Paragraphs should be justified, without indentation on the first line, and formatted with 6 pt spacing before and after. Line spacing should be 1.5.
  • Indirect citations should follow the format (Author’s last name, year).
    Direct quotations must follow the format Author’s last name (year, p. x).
  • For direct quotations longer than three lines, use a 4 cm left indent, Times New Roman, 10 pt, single line spacing, and leave one blank line before the quotation. The source should appear in the format: (Author’s last name, year, p. x).
  • Footnotes should be avoided whenever possible. If used, they must be numbered consecutively and formatted in Times New Roman, 10 pt.
  • Page numbers must appear in the bottom right corner.
  • References must be listed at the end of the manuscript, in alphabetical order, following ABNT Standard 6023/2025, with single line spacing and left alignment. Use 6 pt spacing before and after paragraphs. Hyperlinks should remain active.
  • Figures, tables, charts, maps, and other illustrations must be numbered sequentially in the order they appear in the text and accompanied by titles.
  • The provided template must be used for manuscript preparation.
